Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

Your plan follows your territory — add or remove practices based on your targeting, and your tier adjusts automatically.

There's no "upgrade" or "downgrade" button on Med Sales Hub — your plan changes automatically based on the number of medical practices in your territory. This article explains how that works and how you can influence it by managing your own territory.

Your plan follows your territory

Your tier is calculated from how many medical practices are currently in your territory:

Tier

Practices in Your Territory

Price

Free

0

$0/month

Lite

1–3

$29/month

Growth

4–10

$79/month

Premium

10+

$149/month

If your territory grows past a tier's range, you're moved up automatically. If it shrinks below a tier's range, you're moved down automatically. There's nothing to select — the system handles it for you.

What can change your territory size

Two things affect how many practices are in your territory:

  1. A medical practice is added to or removed from your territory through the platform's normal matching process — for example, a new practice in your specialty and region signs up and gets matched to you.

  2. You add or remove a practice yourself, based on your own targeting decisions (see below).

Either way, your tier is recalculated the same way — based on the resulting number of practices in your territory, not on how the change happened.

Managing your territory to control your tier

You're not limited to whatever practices are automatically matched to you. You can shape your own territory based on who you're actually targeting:

  • Remove a practice you're not currently calling on or don't plan to target, from your Network page. This can move you down a tier if it drops your total into a lower range.

  • Add a practice you do want to target, if it's available in your specialty/region, which can move you up a tier if it raises your total into a higher range.

This gives you control over your price — if you're intentionally focusing on a smaller, more targeted set of practices, you can trim your territory down to reflect that rather than paying for practices you're not actively working.

Important: once you remove a practice, it can't be manually re-added. If you decide later that you want a removed practice back in your territory, email [email protected].

How and when the change takes effect

Whenever your territory crosses into a different tier's range:

  • Your new price takes effect on your next billing date — never in the middle of your current billing cycle.

  • You'll get an email notification beforehand with your new tier, new price, and the exact date it starts.

  • No action is required on your part — the change applies automatically.

Frequently asked questions

If I remove practices to lower my tier, does it happen immediately? Your territory count updates immediately, but the price change itself doesn't take effect until your next billing date.

Can I go back to a higher tier later if my territory grows again? Yes — your tier always reflects your current territory size, whether it's growing or shrinking, and updates the same way in either direction.

Is there a limit to how many practices I can remove? No, but keep in mind that removed practices can't be manually re-added — if you're unsure about a practice, consider leaving it in your territory rather than removing it.

Will removing a practice affect meetings I already have scheduled? No. Removing a practice from your territory only affects future matching — any existing meetings on your calendar are not affected.
