Setting your office policies and food preferences

How to set office policies and food preferences so reps know what to expect when they visit your practice.

The Office policies and food preferences field is the most important field on your practice profile. Reps read it before every visit. Filling it out completely means smoother meetings and better food choices.

What to include

  • Parking instructions and where to park

  • Sign-in process at the front desk

  • Lunch logistics (where to set up, what time to arrive, who to give food to)

  • Food preferences (vegetarian options, allergies, dietary restrictions)

  • Cuisines or restaurants your staff prefers, or wants reps to avoid

  • Allowed sample types and what reps cannot bring

  • Dress code expectations

  • Any other rules or expectations for reps

Character limit

The field allows up to 2,000 characters. A live character counter helps you track how much you've written. There's a minimum of 100 characters to make sure you put in some detail.

Why this matters

Reps read this before every visit. A well-written policies field means reps show up prepared — with the right food, the right samples, and awareness of your practice's specific needs. Everyone's meeting goes better.
